A creation of Lewis and his sister, Royal has since spread into a small press comic (simply titled 'Royal'), collaborations with artists, more artwork that has led to a more fleshed out post-apocalyptic universe.
We will be re-visiting Royal in our collaboration, so this blog post serves as a handy refresher of where it all started.
At the beginning of this year, Lewis released his first small press comic, 'Royal', which, thankfully, has had some great feedback so far! Drawn in digital impressionistic paintings, Royal follows Pola, a hitman who finds himself flung deeper and deeper into the hellish landscape of Royal when his close friend and flatmate Janet disappears.
Filled with evil cultists, creepy monsters, Royal also features an assortment of memorable characters, such as Prince (legitimate heir to the throne, which he refuses to be apart of), Pola (brother of Prince, hitman, anti-hero), and Dan Marrick (cheerful bearded barman) amongst a few others.
